Overview The PADI Divemaster course is a professional level course and requires a significant amount of dedication to complete. This is a very popular course among people planning a career break or extended period of travel as the qualified divemaster is able to work as a dive guide and assist instructors with various elements of PADI courses. During this course the candidate will practice all skills to a high level of proficiency and also assist with an Open Water
Course. There are also watermanship tests to complete, which are scored On a scale of 1-5. These include, treading water, swimming, and snorkel Swim and tired diver tow. The other main components of the course are the theory exams. These include physics, physiology, dive skills and the environment, equipment and dive planning. The duration of this course is very flexible. With significant prior study it can be intensively completed in 8-10 days, or more commonly, over a number of months.
Requirments Padi Rescue Diver with EFR training or equivalent. 60 logged dives
are required before certification but this is an absolute minimum.
