Open Water Diver
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular diving programme in the world. It is recognised all over the world and allows the qualified diver to dive worldwide. It qualifies you to dive to 18 meters and is the first step on the diving ladder and a prerequisite to most other diving courses.
Content
The course consists of knowledge development, confined water dives and open water dives. The knowledge development sessions are completed in our classroom, confined water at one of our local beaches which offer swimming pool like conditions, and the open water dives at a variety of locations throughout the county.
There are 5 confined water sessions and 4 open water sessions.
The length of the course in entirely up to you and can be completed at weekends or evenings over a period of time which suits your schedule. Most of the knowledge developments can be completed in your own time which makes the course very flexible.
Requirements
We have a minimum age requirement of 10 for the Open Water course.
A medical questionnaire must be completed before starting the course.
Cost
The cost of the course is 480 euro. This includes all materials, diving equipment, PADI registration fee and air fills.
A 100 euro deposit is required to start the course and the remainder of the course fee can be paid in instalments over the duration of the course.
