Rescue Diver
Overview: The PADI Rescue Diver course will expand your diving skills and prepare you to take appropriate action if an emergency should occur. This is one of the most demanding course and also one of the most enjoyable. It is fairly demanding both physically and mentally but once you have completed the course you will be far more confident as a diver. During the course you will cover the following,
Self-rescue and diver stress
CPR on the unconscious diver
Swimming and non swimming assists
Emergency management
Panicked diver responses
Missing diver procedures
Surfacing the unconscious diver
First aid procedures
There are 5 knowledge reviews and a theory exam required
to complete the course. This is combined with 5 open water sessions which enable you to practice the different emergency procedures in real life situations.
Requirements: You need to be a PADI Advanced Open Water diver or equivalent to enrol in this course. CPR certification is required to complete this course.
Cost. 325 euro. This includes all course materials and equipment necessary to complete the course. This course can be offered combined with the EFR course (required) at a discounted rate.
