Overview Ever lost anything during a dive ? or maybe planning to search for a lost or ancient artifact. This course trains the diver in two main areas.
The techniques to plan and execute various search patterns How to safely raise an object from the sea bed
During the course the diver will firstly be introduced to the various search patterns that can be implemented to locate various types of objects both large and small. The patterns will firstly be practiced on land making sure the diver is comfortable with compass use etc. Another essential part of the course is the use of a lift bag and the various techniques (knots) to connect it to the object to be recovered. Again these techniques will be practiced before being implemented in open water.There are four open water dives during This course which can be completed over a weekend and also knowledge reviews to complete before certification. Requirments PADI Advanced Open Water diver or equivalent.
